Expired

I went on a 1-hour undertime this morning because I want to rush off to Department of Foreign Affairs (Clark) for my passport renewal. My passport has expired last November 22... It's my fault, I overlooked it. Now, upon arriving in the area, DFA is closed! According to their security guard, they're not re-issuing passports anymore, not until January or February daw. Also, he said that I have to go to DFA Manila if I want my passport renewed and it will take up to a month before it will be released if ever (26 business days)...

November 26--- DFA's issuing the new passport already daw. Passports are gonna be Maroon...not the Dark Green one anymore. And there's this finger scanning pa daw to avoid alteration or faking of some passports. By the way, pictures on passports now are in BLUE background, no more WHITE background.

My gawd! My Tita and I are going to Bangkok this December pa naman! Bad trip!

Naku, I'm having my passport renewed next year. I hope I won't be getting problems by then.

i heard nga na wala na yung sa pampanga. i think sa manila nalang pwede mag renew, coz nung nasa DFA kami, there were people there from pampanga pa! sabi nga nila wala na daw yung sa clark. if you apply sa DFA in Pasay, the soonest possible release would be after 7 working days. yung samin pina-Air21 nalang namin sa bahay para di na kami bumalik sa DFA. we will get it daw a day after it was released. so next week siguro dadating na.

For Bangkok, I strongly recemmend to visiting the floating marking. In fact, there are many floating markets in thailand but Dam nern sa duak is the original one. The market is actually a canal full of boats selling everything: noodles, fruits, souvenirs, handicrafts, and many more. If you don't wish to pay 1000 Baht for the long tail boat tour , you may just take a non-motor boat instead, it cost only 200 Baht.
