I bought some scrapbooking materials at National Bookstore. Whew! I didn't know that bookscrapping materials are kinda expensive. Well, I'm happy naman with what I bought so it's okay for me na din. I also bought a book with free scrapping materials inside. It teaches you the basic of scrapbooking: basic skills, basic tools and a lot more. What I like about scrapbooking is it is all about preserving memories for generations still to come. Of course, I want to show my "works" to my grandchildren someday. c",)
Scrapping all the way! LOL.

I like Disneyland's Space Mountain. It's a roller coaster outer space ride! I love adrenaline rush!
I just keep quiet and pray it'll gonna end soon.
No... but I had it last year. Maybe I'm just gonna have one next year (2008).

Expired
I went on a 1-hour undertime this morning because I want to rush off to Department of Foreign Affairs (Clark) for my passport renewal. My passport has expired last November 22... It's my fault, I overlooked it. Now, upon arriving in the area, DFA is closed! According to their security guard, they're not re-issuing passports anymore, not until January or February daw. Also, he said that I have to go to DFA Manila if I want my passport renewed and it will take up to a month before it will be released if ever (26 business days)...
November 26--- DFA's issuing the new passport already daw. Passports are gonna be Maroon...not the Dark Green one anymore. And there's this finger scanning pa daw to avoid alteration or faking of some passports. By the way, pictures on passports now are in BLUE background, no more WHITE background.
My gawd! My Tita and I are going to Bangkok this December pa naman! Bad trip!

On scrapping...
Yes, I'm still on digi and scrapbooking. Thanks to Alpha and Lorie.
Alpha gave me this website which features a lot of digiscrappers' beautiful lay-outs. I opened an account with them.
Lorie, this ScrapbookFlair is really great! I took advantage of their free CD wherein I'll be able to get alot of individual backgrounds, embellishements and templates. This CD is a must have. All you have to do is pay the shipping and handling fee of $4.00 (US) and $7.95 (International). Hope I get my free CD by next week!

Earthquake
Yesterday afternoon while watching a noontime show in my room, our 4 dogs started to bark at the same time. I felt dizzy so I just yelled at them to stop barking. I lay down flat on my bed. Looking up my room's ceiling, I noticed my mini chandelier's little crytal balls are moving left and right. That's when I realized I'm not dizzy after all, it's an earthquake. I felt scared because I was alone in the house. I just cuddled my little dog and waited for the quake to stop.
In the news, Manila was hit by the earthquake with intensity 3. The magnitude was only 5.4 and thank God, there wasn't any reports of damage or injury...

On digi & scrapbooking...
I really want to know more about these two stuff. Actually, I have a scrapbook but it's not as beautiful as the works of Diane and some of the scrappers here. Now, I'm planning to buy alot of scrapbooking materials this coming Chrismas as a gift to myself.
I have chatted with Diane the other day & we talked about digiscrap & scrapbooking. I told her how I adore Alpha, Shabem & her works. For digiscrapping, I bought an Adobe Photoshop CS 3 for a start. Shabem advised me this so that I could edit some of my personal fave pics. Hah! I don't know if the Photoshop program is hard to learn or it is just me who really doesn't know how to understand and use the program.
Hopefully, I'll be able to show my first work here and hope you will like it.

My mom...
Many have thought she's my older sister. Some says we are very much look-alike. She just smile everytime someone says that. It's a compliment on her part (she's like my older sister thing part) but not for me. Grrr.... But are we?
She's my mom. She's my bestfriend as well. I can almost tell her everything what is happening in my life. She's only 19 years old when she had me. I'm 27. Now, do the math! She looks younger than her age, that's my opinion. LOL.

I can't sleep...
It's my day off and I'm suppose to be sleeping soundly but to my dismay, I'm not. I slept probably around 10pm last night then woke up around 12mn...again woke up by 1am. I keep on tossing myself around my bed, trying to get a good sleeping position. My phone beeped. Upon checking & reading some text messages, i saw the time & it's already 2:30am! Whaaat! I didn't notice that an hour passed already. Maybe my body clock is already adjusted on my work schedule. Yeah, I've been on grave yard shift for almost 5 months already.
Around 3am, I just decided to turn on the computer and do some net surfing & bloghopping. Good thing, Lisa & Kitty has tags for me. That will keep me busy enough for me to get sleepy again. I didn't notice that the sun is rising up already. That means one thing, i wasn't able to get a good night sleep!
My mom's awake now. She's watching an early morning show in ABS-CBN, "Kumikitang Pangkabuhayan" I think, hosted by Amy Perez. She wants us to go to SM Clark 'coz she saw in the show that SM Clark is featuring these businesses, products, services & places which other countries are proud of. Now, I won't be able to go back to sleep even more... tsk...tsk...tsk...

Salty Coffee
An amazing Love Story...found this one at My Friendster's bulletin:
He met her at a party. She was so beautiful, many guys were chasing after her, while he was so plain and simple, nobody paid attention to him.
At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but to be polite, she consented. They went to a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home....suddenly he asked the waiter.
"Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."
Everybody stared at him, How strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it.
She asked him curiously; why you have salt in your coffee? He replied: "when I was a little boy, I lived near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who still lives there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.
That 's his true feelings, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can share his home sickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has ties to his home.
Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.
They continued to date. She found that he was actually a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed knowing him! Thanks to his salty coffee!
The story ended just like every beautiful love story , the princess married the prince, then they lived happily ever after... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in it, as she knew that's the way he liked it.
After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, I have been lying my whole life. This was the only lie I told you---the salty coffee.
Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change it, so I just went ahead. I neverthought that could be the start of our conversation! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you about anything. Now I'm dying, I'm afraid of nothing so I can tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life!
Since I met you, I don't ever feel sorry for everything I did for you. "Having you with me is the biggest thrill of my whole life. If I can live a second time around, I would still want to know you and have you for the rest of my life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again". Her tears made the letter totally wet.
One day, someone asked her: how did the salty coffee taste? It was very sweet, she replied.
Love is not to forget but to forgive, not to see but to understand, not to hear but to listen, not to let go but to hold on...
Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you like, because the one you like will leave you for the one they love.

At last...
it's Saturday once again and it's my day-off. Weehee!!!
Okay, I got out in the office at exactly 10am. Some of my reps asked me if I want to join them go to SM and eat fishballs and kikiam...of course I said yes. It's been a month since I last ate those street foods. My mom doesn't want me eating those food specially the ones talaga sa street. I might get cholera daw. It's not everyday naman when I eat those eh.
After that, we just strolled at the mall. We were trying to find a silver necklace for Pam's boyfriend (one of my agent) at Silver Best. To my surprise, even Silvers are kind of expensive na din pala! Pam was eyeing a silver dog tag and it cost P2k plus! And I saw a Tiffany & Co. heart chain look alike necklace and it cost P5k! Whew! I didn't know that they're pricing silvers as such!
Then I went to the kiosk of Star Cruises, I asked the Sales Executive for some brochures and a quotation of their traveling fee. Upon seeing just the picture of the gigantic ship, I wish I win the lottery so that I could experience the brilliance of a World-Class Megaship in Asia Pacific. I wish to cruise someday, who knows I'll have excess money on my Christmas bonus. Asa pa! c",)

Easy Oreo Truffles
I got this recipe to one of the Mommy bloggers (tegdirb92). She has a lot of recipes on her site. Visit her here. The truffles are so mouth watering and I'm planning to make this recipe nextweek. I'm sharing it with you...Grab it!
Shape into 42 (1-inch) balls. Freeze cookie balls for about an hour (the cold helps the chocolate adhere easier).

Melissa Fever
I'm just wondering why my officemates go gaga over Melissa shoes. To think, they're just some jelly, rubbery shoes. I can't help but think- Why? Maybe these are just another Havaianas in the making which became a household name to alot of people.
I decided to surf the net and found a Melissa site and FAQs too:
What makes MELISSA so special?
There’s so much to say...
• The designs are… Fun! Cute! Unique!
• Take a whiff of MELISSA, and you’ll notice the candy-licious smell!
• Very comfortable! Patented MELFLEX materialmolds to the shape of your feet! • MELISSAs are RECYCLABLE! Save Mother Earth!
• Collaborations respected designers! Such asJudy Blame (Part of Louis Vuitton Design Team),Alexandre Herchcovitch (was part of 2001Paris Fashion Week, 2004-2007 New YorkFashion Week)
All these things bring truth to our belief that: “Melissa is not just a shoe, it’s the ultimate fashion accessory!”
1. What is MELFLEXTM?
For years now, the biggest challenge has been to develop a material which could be easily molded to the foot, providing superior comfort in relation to other products currently on the market. This formula was developed in MELISSA’s laboratories.
The result is a composition called MELFLEXTM. This material has characteristics which provide improved elasticity, impermeability and resistance. Its formula contains products which are hypoallergenic and 100% safe to your health. It is odorless, neutral and natural. MELFLEXTM maintains its special properties even after being recycled. MELISSA searches for innovation in a variety of fields, including those which are not related to footwear production, in order to boost the performance of MELFLEXTM.
2.Where does MELISSA come from?
MELISSAs are made exclusively by Grendene, the parent company of MELISSA. Grendene has 12 factories and over 20,000 employees, which allows it to manufacture a whopping 176 million pairs of shoes a year!
In the Philippines, Istila Companhia is the exclusive distributor of MELISSA.
3.Where can I buy MELISSAs?
MELISSA is an international brand, and is available in many of the trendiest fashion boutiques in the world.
In the Philippines, we at Istila Companhia apply a rigorous selection process to determine the most suitable establishments to carry the brand. Please click on the “Where to Buy” link for a complete list of authorized retailers in the country. We are currently in the process of expanding our distribution coverage to more establishments both within Metro Manila and in the provinces.
It is important that you purchase your pair of MELISSAs only at authorized establishments to ensure that you receive the genuine article. Can I purchase Melissa directly From the Distributor?Istila Companhia, the exclusive distributor of Melissa in the Philippines, does not sell direct to customers at this time. However, we may help you find your pair by informing you about what are available in stores and by referring you to an outlet.
4. Can I buy MELISSAs over the Internet?
At the moment, MELISSAs are not available for purchase over the Internet. No company or individual has been authorized to sell MELISSAs in the Philippines through the Internet.
5. Are all styles of MELISSAs available at any authorized retailer?
The styles that an establishment carries vary from one authorized retailer to another. What is available in one store will not necessarily be available in another store. What is the typical cost of a pair of MELISSAs?For our current collection, the prices of MELISSAs ranges from P2,495 to P4,395, depending on the design. We practice uniform pricing across all our authorized retailers. MELISSAs sold at significantly lower prices by unauthorized retailers may possibly be fake or defective.

Baldy and Ugly
My dog Puffy is not as cute as he was before... :-(
We really needed to get him groomed because most of his hair around his body is tangled up! Gosh, I spent P500 for his grooming! I'm just spending P200 for my haircut and my poochie's cut is more than mine!
My mom took him at the veterinary clinic around 9am, and I picked him up around 3:30pm... Upon seeing him, I got a little sad because he doesn't look good. He's not a cutie pie anymore. The doctor said his fur will start to grow back in a month's time and his fluffy hair in about 3-4 months. Hah! That long? I can't wait!
Baby Puffy
Ugly Puffy
Oh no! He looks like a Hyena!
Before he was groomed...

Things Every Woman Should Try
They say life is short, but let's face it—in a world of routine, debt and stress, it can seem like a long walk on a slow treadmill. Too many women rely on men to make them happy, but it's time to take matters into your own hands. If you feel like your days have been stuck on autopilot, don't worry! We've found 10 real-world ways to take your life from Groundhog Day to grand—in no time flat.
Go on a Non-Diet (If Just for the Weekend)
The Rut: You avoid the office cookie jar, count the calories in your carrots and refer to yourself as "bad" if you dare enjoy a slice of your own birthday cake. Hating our bodies has become such a pastime that running down a list of flaws to friends actually counts as conversation. How boring!
Try It! Deprivation may be commendable in the Nicole Richie Book of Health but it hardly makes for a full life, so give it a rest already! Enjoy the wine, twirl the pasta and order that slice of Key Lime pie! Just as eating salad for one day won't make you thin, a few fun dinners with friends won't make you fat. And best of all? You'll have memories that will last much longer than those meals.
Book Your Dream Vacation—Go Alone if you Have to!
The Rut: You've always wanted to see Rome, and you bet the Foie Gras in Toulouse would be heavenly. You'd love to go, but you never seem to have the time and even if you did, you don't have anyone to share it with.
Try It! We'd all love to live out our own Under The Tuscan Sun experience but when it comes to booking the flight? Let's face it—it's easier to make excuses than get off our cabooses and go. The truth is that the time is never "right" to do something amazing. If it were, we'd be having life-changing experiences every Tuesday. You have to make the time. And please, know that you don't need a boyfriend to taste tiramisu in Capri. (Who knows? You might meet one there!)
Cut The Credit Card Noose!
The Rut: College is a distant memory and your salary's up-to-par—but you wouldn't know it based on your dorm lifestyle! Those credit card payments are really throwing a wrench...
Try It! Call your credit card companies and renegotiate your APR—there's a good chance it's higher than you realize. Then, open up a separate savings account because you are about to save some serious cash, lady.
Kick Your Celebrity Addiction
The Rut: You log onto your favorite blog every hour and can detail Mariah's favorite foods in alphabetical order. In fact, you know more about the relationship between Nicole and Paris than you do your own friendships.
Try It! Toss the tabloids and pick up the phone. Catch up with old friends, browse your local bookstore and get to know the world you live in, instead of pressing your face against the celebrity fishbowl all the time. Added bonus: There's a good chance you'll start to feel better about yourself when you stop staring at a lifestyle you cannot afford and skin that's been Photoshop-ed!
Date Yourself—Exclusively
The Rut: You want to find a guy, settle down and have a baby—but another bad coffee date might throw you over the edge.
Try It! If dating has become draining, it's time to go on hiatus. Taking time to enjoy your own life, pamper your passions, hone your hobbies and truly get to know yourself will not only revive your spirit but also make you more apt to look for a solid partner, not just "find a guy." Log onto CitySearch to find great new restaurants to try and learn about events in your area. Plus, the best way to find someone who shares your interests is to indulge your interests!
Work at Your Dream Job
The Rut: You know that finance isn't your forte and you'd really love to be a writer—but your approaching 30 and now it's just too late, right? Wrong.
Try It! Whether it's writing, accounting or opening your own bake shop, there is no reason you can't be doing something you love while earning a solid paycheck. You just have to be smart about it. Start a blog, take a class or sell cookies out of your kitchen on the side while you work at your current position. The more you indulge your dreams as a hobby, the more likely it is that it will ignite your passion and have you brainstorming new ways to make your dreams come true. Motion creates motion: Sitting there complaining that you missed your chance will get you nowhere fast.
Have Amazing, Meaningless Sex
The Rut: That hot and sexy Antonio-Banderas-in-his-prime neighbor who always gives you the eye in the laundry room? You know he's definitely not dating material. Still, when he folds his towels and you see his triceps move, well lets just say, the dryer's not the only thing that heats up!
Try It! We all want to find love, but sometimes it's okay to just have a good time. As long as you protect yourself (on both an emotional and physical level) there is nothing wrong with giving into your carnal desires once in a while. Go for it, woman!
Tackle Your Biggest Fear
The Rut: Be it spiders, heights or public speaking, every gal has something that leaves her shaking in her stilettos.
Try It! No one's suggesting you sleep in a cemetery—but taking small steps to overcome your fear is healthy! Not only will it increase your confidence; it will also likely show you that you have given whatever it is more power than it deserves.
Let Go Of The Past
The Rut: You've had the same look since college. You even wear some of the same clothes. Yes, you were a total cutie back then—but that was 10 years ago!
Try It! If you're still wearing the same lip shade you wore in biology, get thee to a makeup counter pronto! You may not realize it but your attempt at holding onto your youth may actually be aging you. Trends, face shapes and body types change over the years, which is why it's important to freshen up your look every so often. You don't have to go drastic but a few highlights, a new cut and some up-to-date fashions can help you seeing yourself in a whole new way.

Last night...
I had a dinner date with my friend JP in one of the restos at SM Clark. Of course I ordered what I was craving for...Crispy pata and sisig! Too bad, they don't serve Banana split ice cream, I like it pa naman as my dessert. Anyways, I just ordered green mango with bagoong na lang to ease some of my cravings.
Crispy pata, Sisig & Green mango
Wow! Delicioso!
After our dinner, we went to Boom na Boom sa Clark, it's like a mini Star City. We tried one ride lang which is the Boomerang- their own version of rollercoaster. We don't want to try all the rides because we just ate and for fear, we might throw up. Hehehe

Day-off...
Yipee, it's my day-off tonight... Yes, you read it right, TONIGHT. I'm working as a Sales Agent Coach in a callcenter and I work from 12 midnight til 10 in the morning. Hah! Beat that! I've been doing this job for almost 7 years already. It's not that I love my job, I just need to love it in order for me to survive in this jungle. Jane's been my officemate before. Hay, it's just like we were playing then but now, it's a different story.
my picture when I was still a CSR
I'm gonna take a shower in a few because I'm meeting my best guy friend in a while at the mall. You know naman, guys hate to wait as if we're taking forever. He's leaving soon for Dubai so we might as well bond while he's still here.
I wonder where we're going... I told him I'm craving for crispy pata and ice cream. What a combination! LOL. Afterwards, we might go somewhere and have some coffee to end the night

Ultrasound Report
Sorry if I'm just blogging now...been busy running errands for the past days, work and my doctor's check up...
I got my result yesterday and it says on the report...
The retroverted uterus is normal in size with homogeneous myometrial echopattern. It measures 4.20 x 3.48 x 4.15 cm. No cystic or solid myometrial mass lesion is observed. The endometrium is thin and hyperechoic measuring 0.65 cm.
The cervix is normal in size. It measures 2.95 x 2.59 x 2.94 cm. Several cysts are present within the cervix, one of which measures 0.30 x 0.30 cm.
Both ovaries are normal in size and echopattern. The right ovary measures 2.57 x 1.60 x 1.61 cm while the left ovary measures 2.29 x 1.32. 1.67 com.
No free fluid seen in the posterior cul de sac.
Impression:
- Normal-sized retroverted uterus with thin endometrium
- Nabothian cysts
- Normal ovaries
Whew! I found out that the cysts in my cervix are not harmful. They're just benign....
**********************************************************************************
Retroverted Uterus- The vagina isn’t positioned vertically within the pelvis - it is angled towards the lower back. In most women, the uterus is tipped forward so that it lies over the bladder, with the top (fundus) towards the abdominal wall. Another normal variation found in some women is the upright uterus, where the fundus is straight up.
Nabothian cysts-is a mucus-filled cyst on the surface of the cervix. They are most often caused when new tissue growth blocks the nabothian glands of the cervix; this traps mucosal secretions in small (usually 2-10 mm in diameter) subdermal pockets. Nabothian cysts appear most often as firm bumps on the cervix's surface.

Doctor's check-up
I had my check-up with my Auntie whose an OB-GYNE just this morning... quite sad because she thinks I have a symptoms of Endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue that normally lines the uterus (endometrium) grows in other areas of the body, causing pain, irregular bleeding, and possible infertility.
The tissue growth (implant) typically occurs in the pelvic area, outside of the uterus, on the ovaries, bowel, rectum, bladder, and the delicate lining of the pelvis. However, the implants can occur in other areas of the body, too.
The cause of endometriosis is unknown. However, there are a number of theories. One suggests that the endometrial cells (loosened during menstruation) may "back up" through the fallopian tubes into the pelvis, where they implant and grow in the pelvic or abdominal cavities. This is called retrograde-menstruation.
Each month the ovaries produce hormones that stimulate the cells of the uterine lining (endometrium) to multiply and prepare for a fertilized egg. The lining swells and gets thicker.
If endometrial cells are implanted outside the uterus, or elsewhere, it can cause problems. These cells also respond to the monthly hormone stimulation. Unlike cells normally found in the uterus that fall off during menstruation, the ones outside the uterus stay in place. They sometimes bleed a little bit, but they heal and are stimulated again during the next cycle.
This ongoing process can cause scarring and adhesions in the tubes and ovaries, and at the end of the fallopian tubes. (The adhesions can make it hard for reproductive cells to move from the ovary to the fallopian tube. They can also stop a fertilized egg from passing down the fallopian tube to the uterus.)
Endometriosis is a common problem. It occurs in an estimated 10% of women during their reproductive years. The rate may be as high as 35% among infertile women. Although endometriosis is typically diagnosed between the ages of 25 and 35, the problem probably begins about the time that regular menstruation begins.
A woman who has a mother or sister with endometriosis has a 6 times greater risk of developing endometriosis than the general population. Other possible risk factors include starting menstruation at an early age, regular menstrual cycles, and long periods (lasting 7 or more days).
Symptoms
-Increasingly painful periods
-Lower abdominal pain or pelvic cramps that can by felt for a week or two before menstruation
-Lower abdominal pain felt during menstruation (the pain and cramps may be steady and dull or quite severe)
-Pelvic or low back pain that may occur at any time during the menstrual cycle
-Pain during or following sexual intercourse
-Pain with bowel movements
-Premenstrual spotting
-Infertility
Note: Frequently, symptoms may not be present. In fact, some women with severe cases of endometriosis have no pain at all, while some women with only a few small implants have severe pain.
A pelvic examination may reveal the presence of tender nodules, with a lumpy consistency. These are often found in the posterior vaginal wall or adnexa (ovary regions), and they may sometimes be felt in healed wound scars (especially those from episiotomy and C-section). There may be pain with uterine motion.
The uterus may be fixed or retroverted. A pelvic ultrasound test may detect an endometrioma on an ovary. A laparoscopy is necessary for a definite diagnosis, but most patients can start treatment without this.
Just to make sure, she wants me to have a transvaginal ultrasound tomorrow. After I get the results, I need to go back to her clinic so that she can give me the right meds for it. Hoping that the results are negative...
