Missing someone

We've known each other for almost 3 years now. We've started to become close two years ago and we've met once when he went to vistit the Philippines last year February. We always keep in touch by sending emails, pictures and always text and talk with each other. I tried getting a visa last year but got denied. My purpose is to visit him so that I won't have to wait for like a year before he comes here again. It's hard being away with each other. I misses him alot.

***He said by next month (February) he gets to visit me again. I'm so excited now.

What we call LIFE...

Midnight coffees, birthday pizzas, accentuated english, dashing clothes, irrate customers... so much money, so little time. Late night parties, sunrise beers, crush on coaches, fight for appraisals, die-hard friendships, tears for love. Nothing missing, just everything. People call it CALL CENTERS... We call it LIFE. Live with it!

My bestfriend sent this to me. I want to share it to all women out there...

A young wife sat on a sofa on a hot humid day,
drinking iced tea and visiting with her Mother. As
they talked about life, about marriage, about the
responsibilities of life and the obligations of
adulthood, the mother clinked the ice cubes in her
glass thoughtfully and turned a clear, sober glance
upon her daughter.

'Don't forget your Sisters,' she advised, swirling
the tea leaves to the bottom of her glass. 'They'll
be more important as you get older. No matter how
much you love your husband, no matter how much you
love the children you may have, you are still going
to need Sisters. Remember to go places with them now
and then; do things with them.'

'Remember that 'Sisters' means ALL the women...
your girlfriends, your daughters, and all your other
women relatives too. 'You'll need other women. Women
always do.'

What a funny piece of advice!' the young woman
thought. Haven't I just gotten married?
Haven't I just joined the couple-world? I'm now a
married woman, for goodness sake! A grown-up! Surely
my husband and the family we may start will be all I
need to make my life worthwhile!'

But she listened to her Mother. She kept contact
with her Sisters and made more women friends each
year. As the years tumbled by, one after another,
she gradually came to understand that her Mom really
knew what she was talking about. As time and nature
work their changes and their mysteries upon a woman,
Sisters are the mainstays of her life.

After more than 50 years of living in this world,
here is what I've learned:

Time passes.

Children grow up.

Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're supposed to do.

Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end.
BUT.........

Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how
many miles are
between you. A girl friend is never farther away
than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you
have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life
will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on,
praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on
your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the
valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk
beside you...Or come in and carry you out.

Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters,
daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers,
Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended
family, all bless our life!

The world wouldn't be the same without women, and
neither would I. When we began this adventure called
womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or
sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we
would need each other.

Every day, we need each other still.

She's based in California now but we make it a point that we get in touch with each other. Thanks to Yahoo! Messenger, we get to talk almost everyday. If there's one people who knows my secrets aside from my mom of course, is SHE. I always tell her almost everything and anything under the sun (and moon!)

Endoscopy

My Mom's having one...just so you have an idea how it is:

Definition:
An endoscope is a medical device consisting of a camera mounted on a flexible tube. Small instruments can be used to take samples of suspicious tissues through the endoscope. In gastrointestinal endoscopy, this device is inserted through the mouth or anus. For other areas, small incisions are made.

An ultrasound probe can be added to a gastrointestinal endoscope. This is called an endoscopic ultrasound. Depending on the area of interest, this device can also be passed through the mouth or anus.

How the test is performed:
There are many types of endoscope, and they are named in relation to the organs or areas they explore. Endoscopes used to look directly at the ovaries, appendix, or other abdominal organs, for example, are called laparoscopes (laparoscopy).

Other endoscopes are inserted through incisions to look at joints (arthroscopy) or the lungs (bronchoscopy), and still others are used to view the inside of the bladder (cystoscopy)...And in my mom's case, the doctor's gonna take a look at her liver.

Hospital Birthday

I don't know what's with my mom but usually she gets sick every "ber" months... The first time I celebrated it in the hospital was when i got sick. Second time was when my mom had Pharyngitis and the last one was when my mom had a brain stroke.

Next week's gonna be my birthday and I might be spending it again in the hospital. Yes, if it will push through, it'll be my 4th time to spend it there. Not because my mom is sick...it's because she'll be scheduled for her Endoscopy. Her doctor said her liver got 2-3x bigger than its usual size so they have to take a peek of it what and how big it is inside.

Hopefully everything will turn out okay.

So rather than search for than someone who will complete you, wait for the person who will compliment for your completeness.

• If you are not sure where you stand in someone’s life, it’s best to leave things behind so that if they drop you off, it will be easier to forget them. Don’t waste time waiting for nothing, when efforts are not recognized, it’s best to just give things up; you’ve done your part. Let them do theirs…

• Sometimes, you have to make a big mistake to figure out how to make things right. Mistakes are painful but they're the only way to find out who you really are.
